At Home in Nepal

Bloged in Uncategorized by reachingnepal Saturday February 3, 2007

Home Sweet Home! After a month of traveling throughout South Asia I am finally home. I’ve been back now for a week and it’s so nice to get back in the swing of things. This last week we had a teacher from America come out and help us develop our college?s curriculum. It was very helpful to have someone come from the outside and show us how we can best prepare our students for ministry.

This coming week is the start of the new year for our Bible college. After looking back over this last year and reevaluating what I have been doing in ministry, I have decided to invest more time in the college. I will have an office soon where I can work from and I will spend much more quality time outside of the classroom with my students. This will both help my language and allow me to once again minister to youth. Pray for me as I will be teaching three different classes this semester; youth ministry, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, and spiritual formation.

Hi - I am pretty sure that you were in the same group that I went to Harbin with in feb. of 2003. I was just reading some of your entries and wanted to say Hi and that it is really encourgaing to read what the Father has been doing through you. May He continue to bless your work in Nepal and wherever else He may take you. In Him ~ Jessi Urban

    Nathan,

I just read over your prayer letter and it sounds like you’ve taken on quite a bit. I’m excited about the new roles that God has appointed for you and the wisdom He will give you to carry out those roles. Don’t fret, because when all seems chaotic God is on the throne (IS. 6). I’m so so proud of you brother and can’t wait to see you again.

    Your brother,

    todd
