This is a crazy week for language. I finished my first semester of classes last Thursday and this week I am doing my exams. I’ve learned that in Asia they don’t joke around about exams. Get this, my Nepal language exam started on Monday and goes through Thursday and each day is three hours long. That’s 12 hours of language exams people! I was terrified before the first test on Monday, but now that I am half way through this big exam I’m a bit more relaxed. I won’t get my results for a while, but I feel like I’m doing well. Praise Jesus! Keep praying hard. I still have two days to go.

Wow– that’s hard core. I will defionatly be praying. You can do it. As mentioned before just don’t forget how to speak in english for the rest of us before we learn the language!
I have no doubt that you will do an amazing job. I would send you some study food but it would not get there in time.. so just know that I am praying for extra wisdom for you!

Nathan, Oh my… and I thought my exams are going to be difficult. I am praying for you lots. Is this really your first Christmas away from us? It seems like a lot longer. Know that we miss you lots. I could really use you here with me sometimes. Know that I have been praying for you and will continue to do so… especially this week. We miss you! Mandi
