Let me share with you a wonderful experiance that happened to me yesterday.
Last night I had dinner with my co-workers and their kids. Being around this family has reminded my why I want to be a daddy one day. I have come to be know by these kids as Uncle “Mussy”. At first I thought the name was Nepali, but come to find out it’s just a made up word for muscles. So anyway, Uncle “Mussy” was sitting on the couch and I had just finished reading three books to Micah. Micah ran off to play and I was sitting there talking with the other “old people”. After a few minites Karuna (their five year old daughter) walks in with a sad look on her face. She climbs up in my lap and I asked her what was wrong. She told me it was a secret and whispered something in my ear. I didn’t make out everything, but I did make out “the people out there don’t know about Jesus.” At this point my heart broke. This little girl was sad because the people all around us didn’t know her Savior. I wrapped my arms around her and told her that was why her Mommy, her Daddy, and I had come to Nepal; to tell those people about Jesus. You could see her face light up and she went on to tell me when she asked Jesus in her heart. We could all learn something from the heart of this little girl. Here is Karuna with my friend David.
