Burma and Beyond

Bloged in Uncategorized by reachingnepal Sunday March 12, 2006

Believe it or not I am sitting in an internet shop in the most northern town in Thailand- Mai Sai. I am now convinced that the internet is everywhere. Today I rented a dirt bike and rode around 70 km to the border of Thailand and Burma. Just last month I finished reading the biography of Adoniram Judson and his great miss…ary career in Burma. He gave his whole life so that Burma might know Christ and now? I am going to visit this great land. Praise God! Tomorrow I am going to try and visit both Burma and Laos and then on Tuesday I am going to visit some tribal groups in the hills of Thailand as? I ride horseback (cool huh!). I really don’t know why God lead me here, but I know He did. Pray that I keep my eyes and heart open to Divine appointments.?

Today I met with some Philippino workers who have a church in Changi Ri. I was able to deliver many tracks, Bibles, and the book “Tortured for Christ”. This literature was in the Thai and Karen languages. I still have some literature with me and hope to hand out the rest as? I travel.?

Here are some pictures of the Thailand/Burma border. Miss you all.
